Friendship Group

Our Day Care helps those with lifelong debilitating conditions such as dementia. Operating Monday to Friday and facilitated by professional Care Staff, our aim is to offer active and stimulating activities to support longer term independence and offer vital respite to carers.

We support both the cared for and the carer keeping them and the extended family in touch with vital information and their community within a warm and friendly environment.

Building a social circle is essential to our wellbeing. The Friendship Group is a place to come and meet old and new friends, join in the many activities we offer and enjoy each other’s company in a comfortable and familiar setting. Artspeak

Dementia Information

ArtSpeak is a Big Lottery-funded arts outreach programme for people aged 60+. Some of our session run at 25 Prospect Street, home of Radford Care Group as well as in other local venues in Nottingham.

We offer regular workshops in art and other creative mediums with professional tutors. We also run theatre, dance, photography and music groups alongside a programme of mindfulness sessions and a series of trips and outings to interesting cultural venues locally and nationally.

Becoming a member gives you both free and affordable opportunities to explore, create, participate and share a variety of arts as part of an ongoing programme.

Transport

Meals and Refreshment

Door to door transport is available where possible, ensuring that our services remain fully-accessible – regardless of your circumstances.

Every day our members enjoy refreshments throughout the day and a hot 2 course lunch midday. We pride ourselves on making sure all dietary requirements are catered for.
