Love ‘Inner’ City

At the same time as our poetry project, New Deal for Communities helped us to raise funds for a project called Love “Inner” City.

Volunteers and members were featured in a booklet compiled of memories from WWII. In March all members, volunteers and staff received this moving and well presented booklet.

The launch was attended by New Deal and Trevor Lee (an entertainer and speaker), reminisced about big bands, singers and comedians from the 40s era.

It brought back so many memories both happy and sad to all our members.
